Question about PAR

Just curious to here from those who have measured par on their tanks. I am getting 800-900 towards the top and 400 on the sand bed. I know my fixture is overkill on my tank, but I'm thinking I may need to turn it down. Some of my SPS are pretty pale. I'm not sure if it's due to light intensity or low nutrients. Thoughts?

400 par on the sand is silly high. I would definitely says it's contributing.

My lights ramp up and down and that's at the peak. It's about 2 hours. I may adjust it down a little. Tank is 36x24x24. Fixture is 8 36" t5 and 2 pucks of LEDs.

What kind of corals are on the bottom?

Chalices(under overhangs/shaded), zoos and some SPS. One SPS is a garf and it's very pale, but more purple in shaded areas.

I would be tempted to dim it by about half.
