Yesterday I picked up a small quarter sized frag of GSP. It was in a 125 tall reef but somehow had been pushed down to the bottom and wasnt getting much light or flow from what I could see. The GSP they had higher up on the LR had beautiful green flowing polyps that tooked like neon grass almost. Well I decided to get it and see if it would perk up in my tank. The purple mat still looks healthy and the center of the polyps is an awesome color. The tentacles of the polyps are not the same color as the ones that were higher up in the tank. If and when it perks up, will it look like the others that I have seen? I put it in a pretty high flow area of the tank and it seems to like it... just wish it would color up. How long should it be before I notice some spreading?
