Was wondering what intensity you guys run your fixtures at? I have a 29 gallon and i run my photon 24 at about 70% peak. What ratio do you run the blues to whites?

Just got a Nova A4 unit from them. I am a newbie at LEDs so i called and talked to Logan many times about progaming, photo period, intensity;etc. He has been so helpful. He told me never to run my unit over 60 to 70% max. I've had it 2 weeks and he said to ramp it up 10% a week until i reach 60 or 70% It is over my 30 cube and soon to go over my 60 cube. Give him a call...he is very helpful. If you don't get him live voice, leave a voicemail and he will call back. Right now my max intensity is at 30% for 2 hours a day. I start at 9:00 am channel 1 at 15 and channel 2 at 10%. I ramp up each channel 5% each hour until i reach max %,after 2 hours at max % , I ramp down the same way. This Nova A 4 is made for cubes(60 gal). This light is really super! Hope this helps. PM if you need to.

I have a value unit and its been set up about 4 weeks so far. I have both white and blue at about 35%-40%. I am a bit reluctant to move past that too quiickly, seems like its too brite.

+1

Have a 16" unit over my 29. I've never been able to put it past 70%

I have a photon 24 over my 57 gallon.....I can about max that one out.

Almost zero. I get some shadows in a few overhangs, but my light is only 9" off the water. If I raised it up to a foot, they would all go away.

Two photon32's and I thought they are scheduled to max out at 60/50.
