So far, I am a huge fan of Vodka dosing for nutrient control. It has easily been the cheapest and most effective for me.
Recently I switched from a premium vodka we had lying around the house to a different vodka. Since the switch (about 3 weeks), I've noticed that the stuff I wipe from the glass every week during my water change has changed from a brown-ish to a white-ish. Also, it looks like my coralline algae is growing much faster. Maybe its my imagination.
Anyone else notice a change when they switch vodka brands?
