Questions for those who owns a PAR meter

I finally got the Par meter. I have couple of questions.

There is a screw under the sensor, can i remove that. I really dont' like to stick that into the aquarium too often because it looks like galavanized screw. How do you fastened the sensors to a rod, the instructions said that sensors needs to be horizontal.

So who ever is has a Par meter, can you possibly take a picture of your set up.

Yes, you can remove the screw.

I ended up mounting mine to a http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewItem~SearchStr~kent%20scraper~action~view~idProduct~KM2641~idCategory~FIMTASLH~category~Kent_Marine_Pro_Scraper_L__24_In_Saltwater_Aquarium_Supplies_Maintenance_Algae_Scrapers_Pads_Long_Handle~vendor~.html">Kent scraper</a>. Remove the scraper part, heat and bend the end to a sharper angle, and screw the sensor to the flat part. I honestly don't remember what type of screw I used - might have been stainless steel for the reason you mentioned.

Trihn, make sure you use a stainless steel screw...The ARC meter didn't and it is badly rusted!

I took the screw out and just mounted with zip tie. Here is where I got mine from . I have the Qmw-SS
