I have a 58 with about the same dims, just shallower. I have been running one 165w fixture for about a year over it. Depending on your rock layout, you will most likely have shadows/dark areas with just one. I do.

Light is about 5-6 inches above the water.

Mine is not full spectrum, but I imagine coverage will be the same since that fixture is roughly the same size as mine.

Probably the same under a different name. I would prefer a 24 or 32 inch fixture over a 3ft tank.

that light will work if that's your budget, if you take the optics off you will have a good spread, and the shaded areas are great for chalices and lower light coral.

Could, but I am tearing that tank down this weekend. New tank will have MH most likely.

Thank you for the input, the 24" & 32" fixtures i found cost way too much. Unless im not looking in the right place. I could save up, or i could get one for now and another later. It will be 10" above water

And can always buy another if not enough.

It's because they're programable vs dimmable. It's a nice feature to have.
