R-100 Vs Adv-100

Has anyone used both? Are there advantages over one from the other? Other then the adv costing a little more it looks like the adv might work a little better but would like to see what others have to say. This will be going under a 60g cube.

I have the ADV-100 and like it but you have to remember you negate the ability to run a filter sock without modifying the ADV-100. I cut a piece of acrylic for mine to hold a sock , but found that after running it for about 2 days the sock will start to over flow, which in my case meant about 3 gallons of water on the floor. I will be running sockless and I will let you know how it goes. Also note I do have an issue with micro bubbles but I think that has to do with the fact I have way to much from ( 950gph ). All and all if I had to do it over I think I would have bought the R-100

I didnt think you could run a sock in the R-100 either if you put a skimmer in the first compartment. I have not decided on whether to run a sock or not yet.

Yea the R-100 even comes with a sock
