Radiant Wrasse Not So Radiant

I lost my Hawkfish on Sunday (he found the hole in my screen top) and have three fish left (False Clown, Radiant Wrasse, and Randall's Goby). I woke up this boring and discovered that my Wrasse had faded in color to a more pale tone. My guess is that he was keeping his bolder coloration for aggression or intimidation towards the Hawkfish and has now changed because he feels that it is no longer necessary. Any other ideas?

Is he still like this or was it early in the AM? Their colors fade when they're sleeping, although mine has never looked that pale that I've noticed.
