Has anyone seen a video on these? Looking for lighting for the new Waterbox Aquarium that will arrive sometime within the next 4-6 weeks. The aquarium is 55x26x24 so how many of these lights would I need for a LPS dominant tank? I want to mount them to the tank and refrain from attaching them to drywall ceilings. Also how much should they be spread apart?

Lighting and especially radions aren't cheap. I'd look into noops or black boxes personally. Hydras are a little cheaper. Radions are top of the line and the gen5 is the newest model.

I definitely want to go with Radions but I hope I could get away with spending right at a grand. What would you say I would need if I went with the XR30 versus the XR15?

New spread numbers aren't out yet. I'd guess they are close to the gen 4 though. You'd be in the 2-3 range again. Maybe could do 2. 3 would be better

I think 2 is plenty, recommended spread covers 48". On a 55" LPS tank I believe you're good to go.

I'm looking to get 2 to replace my hydra 26's on a 48" tank (SPS dominant).

I literally just saw 2 gen4 xr30 pro for $495 each on r2r, people are dumping gen4 for gen5. You can find a deal.
