I've had this issue a few times now. Overnight my fixtures go to 0% but when ramping up in the morning one fixture fails to start the sequence or fails to turn on. I go to the Mobius app and it cannot connect to that one fixture. If I unplug it nothing happens but if I disconnect the fixture from the power source then reconnect, it connects and picks back up in the cycle where it left off. The light on the power supply is solid and blue so I don't think that's the issue. Has anyone experienced this?

I'm going to try putting a night cycle at like 0.5% blue to keep it connected.

Can you try turning off the outlet for a few min every night? I do that with my xr30s on my hydros xp8. I've never had an issue with them.

How long have you been doing this?

Wondering as I thought about Turning off the roller mat at night (since that option is not available), and only running it for 12hrs a day. Allowing some particles to flow thru at night.
But I didn’t want to shorten its life from power cycling? daily….

Do you run them in groups or individually?

Perhaps change the group or separate the group. Perhaps make the one that’s having an issue as master and see if that triggers it? You can try to change the power supply with other one if you are using other xr’s? but i dont know if that’s an issue.

For a bit over a year. I have a program running that automatically shuts off the outlet at 2am every morning. I'd heard horror stories of people having issues with the XRs randomly turning on at night, and getting their timing out of sync. Figured it would mitigate all potential issues with the lights and Mobius. Has so far.

I've debated only running the Reefmat half the time because my nitrates have been bottoming out. Decided to run the skimmer only at night instead. I'm sure the Reefmat would be fine.

They're set as a group. I set the night % to 0.1 so I'll see if that helps if not I'll try to separate them.
You might check to make sure it's set to the current time.
It's correct

I did noticed you have to open the mobius app in order for the day light saving to take an effect. I noticed it was coming on hour earlier recently. Also installing a new template and not checking the night light also got me once. But never really had other issues. I heard those stories about light staying on too long and killing the tanks? I personally think it should take much longer for it to have such ill efffects.

Redsea should allow the roller to work part time in the app…. But they want to sell more rolls of filters unfortunately.

I’m going to apply this and just run the rollermat on the timer until something changes. Thanks :)

I would separate them. I run all my lights and pumps all seperately even if they use the same schedules and intensities. It’s like a fail safe thing. Pumps act weird when they are grouped. Example would be that Master is not working whicht automatically make the slaves to not work.
