Every time I move a frag plug I come across a few bristleworms. Today a smaller worm got blown across the tank and my RBTA grabbed it. Got me thinking. Is there any reason I can't pluck one from time to time and feed the nem?

Its acceptable, probably not practical. As far as I know it doesn't hurt them, they just sting them to death and then eat them.

I guess that would be a nice way of going "green"? Feed the anemone the pests. Lol.

As far a nutritional: I have no clue. This is the first I've heard of it.

One of my mushrooms came loose the other day and before I could get it the tube anemone grabbed it and ate it.

LMAO! In that same issue of CORAL I read in a different article that they are zooxanthellate and need very strong lighting. This magazine is very confusing. I'm starting to think they don't know what the **** they are talkin about.

Still gonna feed it as normal. Just trying to think outside of the box. Got plenty of bristleworms.

As long as there are no adverse effects to feeding them bristle worms , I don't see why not.

I don't really feed my anemones anymore. The clowns feed them, so why bother.

If you have too many bristleworms, you're probably over-feeding the tank.

I know I overfeed. I've cut back a lot and the worms aren't really a problem, they don't bother anything. I just come across them when I move a frag on the sandbed. I was just curious if there was any reason not to give them to the nem.
