Rbta splitting..

Hey!
I've had a rather happy and well fed rbta seem to start splitting a week ago..How long can the splitting process take?

Mine recently split and it seemed to happen over night. Both ducked into the rocks and stayed there for a few days.

Wish mines not sick..I couldn't take great pics but the split seems to be happening straight down the middle of the mouth beginning at one edge..it seems like it started to split and then stopped halfway through
