For those of you keeping an RBTA under MM or eshine LEDs, I'm wondering how it likes the light?? Healthy with strong coloration?

thanks... i never know what is going to thrive under these lights... I have neon green birdsnest that thrived in a 55gal with horrible paramters (5-7kh, 300Cal) under T5 Geismans and KZ fiji purple, with glowing colors... In my 120 it has no problem growing but it is brown under either MM or eshine (90 optics)

My green birdsnest had huge extension and fantastic color under the MM right up until the Hammer fell on it and killed it. :-( Picked up another one on Tuesday and so far it is doing great. Not as much extension yet but it has only been a few days. I would be it has more to do with water chem than the lights if you are not getting good color.

My birdsnest thrived under horrible water params (300Cal, 5-7 KH) with my T5s. Over the past 5 months I have switched to LEDs and changed tanks. I have heard of corals dulling out for 6 months from drastic changes in lighting or tank chemistry. I'm hoping it colors back up over the next few months. I'd love to do an experiment and swap birdsnest frags. For the majority of SPS I'd always agree about water params, nutrient excess, etc, but Green birdsnest is such an easy SPS that I discount that theory. In most cases if you are getting nice healthy polyp extension, then the coral is healthy.

It took mine sometime before it really took off. I bet you'd will do fine in time.

I have an RBTA under Kessil LED and it is doing fine. It is keeping it's color but not bubbling up. My green birdsnest is nice and green under the Kessils also.

I have 3 nems under MM & AI LEDs. All do just fine at any depth.
