Starting to get into these media reactors and was wondering if there is a media that removes phosphates and nitrates? I was wondering if i could use purigen and phosgaurd in the same reactor?? I know gfo is the best stuff for the PO4 but does it remove NO3? Is the above combo in one reactor even doable?

I have seen a thread discussing fluidized purigen reactor on here before recently. It is doable but you will need to install some mesh guards to keep the small purigen beads in the reactor

It usually isn't advisable to mix media types, but I don't know about these 2 specifically
