Red Hair Algae?

I think this might be a spot of red hair algae beginning on my sand bed. I know that it is hard to see, but there are a few string/hair like things coming from the patch. Am I correct? If so or not, what to do about it?

Also, I think I might have a patch of cyano forming...

From the rocks you have it looks like this is a pretty new setup? If so I wouldn't be too concerned if you have been following the general guidence you'll find on this forum about cycling. Its likely that this alge will go away once your tank settles. Thats what happened in mine.

And by alge i did mean cyano, if its too small to see i just call it alge though I realize how horrible this is in the eyes of a biologist.

It is a fairly new tank. Been running for almost 2 months. I figured the second patch was cyano, but was curious because of the string/ hair like things coming off of the patch in the first picture.
