red laser dot and a crazy clown?

The other day my kids called me into the room with my fish tank. They were all laughing and showed me why. My six year old was running around shooting his toy gun, which has a little red 'laser' light on the front of it. (cheap kid toy, so i'm thinking it is just a red led light)

Anyway... what made them all laugh was when they pointed it at the tank, the tomato clown chased it. (Just like a cat) As you move the red dot around, the clown will chase it. None of the other fish even cared about it.

I never heard of a fish doing that. (and yes, I made them stop as I was worried about them blinding a fish)

Yep! Clowns will chase after a laser pointer.

My daughter and I had many laughs about that years ago! Thanks for lettig me recall that memory! :up:
