Red/Orange Coraline Algea?

I'm in the process of rebooting my tank and I've been adding purple up to try and encourage coraline algea growth. I've started to get bright orange/red spots cropping up and wanted to know if they were a form of coraline algae or something bad. I've attached a photo.

Is it still there?
It appears in my tank (tanks) as well.

Orange coraline usually doesn't last long or like light. IMO it's either going to die off or will turn pink soon.

It's still there. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something I needed to worry about.
