Our Red planet has lost all of it color, not bleached but turned grayish brown. all other Acros in the system are doing great, looking great and great growth. we have about 40 different Acros in our system. we have not changed the light they are under nor the water flow. We have two colonies in our 210 and 4 frags in our frag tank. All tanks are on the same water system and all red planets need help. Testing water my KH is down to a 6, Cal is 400- 420, Mag is 1400.
Yes all red planets did look great about 4 weeks ago just slowly looking worse. would the low KH trouble the red planet that much but not the other Acros.

Other Acros we have go from Red Dragon, Joes Rainbow, Rommel watermelon, ultaments insane, PC rainbow, Pink limonaid , strawberry shortcake, pearl berry, and you get the idea.

its just the rp's?everything looked great last time i was out there.
RP is pretty bulletproof IME lol.i would think if it was the kh,other acros would show signs of it also.get that kh up certainly though.

Sure, lower KH helps sps to look better but it also can kill sps as well. Higher magnesium will affect sps as well.
Very nice collection of sps by the way. :) I love sps. At one time, my 265g display has nothing else by sps when I was a hobbyist.

agree, that's way too low......8-9 shoot for....not in one day though......
