Figured I would post a few tank pics and try to keep track of my build via this thread.

Here is my build to date...

Tank: Red Sea Max E170 w/ the sump upgarde
Total Water Volume: 56 gal (45 tank, 11 sump)
Lights: Red Sea Reef Led 90 w/ 2 Blue Reefbrite Xho
Skimmer: MSK 900 (stock skimmer that comes w/ tank)
Powerheads: Red Sea Wavemaker 25 & Nero 5
Return(s): Mag 9.5 in sump, sicee stock pump in rear chamber
Livestock: 2 Frostbite Clowns, 3 Lyretail Anthias, 1 Bi-Color Blenny
Coral: Mixed reef (sps and lps)

Future plans...
Looking to add a few things to the Apex. ie Trident, DOS, AFK and maybe a LDK.
Would also like to get a different skimmer in order to free up some room in the sump so I can add a reactor and cut down on the noise coming from the tank. Besides that maybe a newer return pump...something a bit more quieter, the mag is pretty loud as well. Livestock wise, im pretty cool with what I have right now. Can't stock too heavy in a tank this size. Coral wise, im looking to add some more sps. The goal is to move on to some high end coral over time.

Looking good. Something about smaller tanks that I really enjoy. How do you like the Red Sea? Looking at going with them for next tank.

Thanks. I like the tank. Its a decent size but I do have an issue with cabinet size. I just dnt have the room I want for what I would like to do (controller board). Besides that its been a great tank to have.

I am having some diatom issues. Can't seem to get rid this brown algae on my glass and on some rock. It's cause the large stag coral to recede at the base....alot now that Im comparing it to these pics. Im going to frag it before lose it.
