Red Sea Mg

Im trying to kill my bryopsis with magnesium and bought a Red Sea Mg test kit to monitor the levels. Unfortunately, it only goes to 1270 ppm and I need to raise my level to 1600.

Does anyone know if the scale per drop continues to go up proportionally ? (eg if 0.42 ml = 800 ppm does 0.84 = 1600 )

I know on the salifert kit, you take the reading on the second syringe of regeant and add that to the highest the scale reads. Which on yours would be added to 1275. Does that make any sense?

Edit: added to 1270 is what I meant

If it doesnt change color with the first syringe of regeant, take the reading when it does change color, look at the chart and add that number to 1270.

I have the red sea Mg test kit, it explains it on the instructions if you are going over 1270ppm.
