Red slime?

I have had this 28g nano up for about a year. About a month ago I started noticing this algae after I got a week or so behind on a water change. I usually do a 5 gal change every two weeks and my Params are always in spec. Does anyone know what this is? It has me puzzled because it comes and goes. It also looks green in places and brown in others. Thanks! Willing to try any suggestions

Holy cow! I just used a TDS meter to check my RODI water And it was reading 28 ppm! And the water going on is 38 ppm. I'm guessing this could be a big cause of my problems?

Yea that could definitely feed cyano growth
