Red Star fish question.

I just noticed my red star fish "curled" up in a ball..... turned the light on and he seems to be opening back up... is this normal? do they sleep in a ball? is he in peril?

I have no Idea, I know my feather starfish does that but not sure about the one you have, the feather is a filter feeder. I think you should move your post to the reef section instead of trading, you might get more help there.

Where did you buy your Red Starfish. I am looking for a Red Linkia (6 legs) but have not seen them for a while.

Maybe your Starfish was just eating something.
