Reef Keeper Elite - NET setup

Anyone using the NET module with email working? Looks like I need a smtp server that accepts unsecure email on port 25. Neither ATT or Gmail support unencrypted email. Am I going to have to setup a local postfix server to relay the mail?

Problem solved.

Before setting up my own postfix server I reached out to DA support and here is their response.

here is a basic email from setup we use. This will get you setup to receive emails.

From: mailto:DAonline@gmx.com">DAonline@gmx.com</a>

Email Authentication box checked
Email User name: [IMG]mailto:DAonline@gmx.com">DAonline@gmx.com</a>
email password: password

SMTP server: mail.gmx.com
email port 587


Essentially they have an account with gmx that they are sharing with their customers to use as their smtp server.

This worked for me.
