I'm using a float switch connected to my SL1 and programmed to control my aqua lifter pump. It works great for auto top off and I have not yet had a problem with it.
Has anyone used a second float switch as a safety net in case the ATO switch hung in the on position? If so, how did you program it. I would like for it to minimally turn off my ATO.
Currently my ATO reservoir is 5 gallons and my sump can absorb that without issue but I would like to plumb the feed into my much larger mixing station so that it doesn't require manual intervention every few days to add top off water.
