Reef keeper or Aquacontroller??????

Neither. APEX
There's probably a dozen threads on it somewhere on this site if you can get the search to work.

It really depends on what your needs are and why you wanna put it to use?

Several things to consider is budget, needs, and what you expect to get out of the controller.

I say apex as well but its all about what you want to do with it

Since I don't have a controller I may not be the best to chime in but that has never stopped me before!!!!

From all I have seen and read, it is like buying a car. Do you want a nice new BMW or is a good solid sedan good enough for your needs. If money were a none issue most people would pick the BMW or similar but to those with less a ail able income a good sedan may do the job just fine.

when controlers have the capability to monitor the basic params other than ph I can see a real use for them. at this time if from what I have read over the years is they are nothing more than an elaborate timer, that monitors temp and ph. if I am wrong please correct me on this matter. I know with the technology and software engineers in this world it should be possible. my business for 16+ years focused on digital control systems in schools, hospitals and office buildings . these systems could monitor, humidity, temp, co2 as well as all of the above in the air coming into the space from the a/c unit and the returning air from the space and all of this could be monitored in each classroom etc from a central location (ie main admin building for a school district) and control setpoints changed from this location. Saying all this I know the ability to do more than apex and any other controler is doing at this time just wish the hobby was big enough to make it profitable for a company to do it
