Reef Lighting: T5 H.O or Ebay Leds

what is the better situation for setting up a reef T5 H.O or ebay leds any one used either?

Los of other variables needed. Tank size, depth, budget, and he number of T5's.

I run both t5's and LEDs.
Since the t5's can only be turned on and off, I use the LEDs to ramp up in the AM and down in the PM
So that the corals and fish are not shocked when lights turn on.

I am looking at a 4 bulb t5 fixtures vs the 2 ebay tatronic led fixtures trying to figure out which is better the 4 bulb fixture will be running off of ati bulbs

bang for the buck the t5 are only $100 vs led $200-300

Sps your going to need more t5's, LEDs dimmable, programmable with high output wattage and full spectrum.
What are you planning to stock the tank with, this will determine the lighting requirements.

T5's are good enough for your coral selection in my opinion.

I have used led and t5 and both work well, and I think they work even better together. As far as t5 over your 75 and sps........ You could keep sps towards the top with a four bulb fixture. But, get one with good reflectors! It makes a difference.
