Reef Napalm

I found the post acroholic did on Reef Napalm, and its mentioned that BALANCE is virtually the same as Sodium Hydroxide. I'm not trying to kill aptasia, but some mushrooms and paly's that have gotten out of control. Just trying to same a trip to the hardware store. Does Balance work the same and if so, how do you mix it?

I would guess that Balance would not do much because it is much much less concentrated than the Napalm. Kind of like comparing vinegar to muriatic acid, if you see what I mean.

But you could try it. Turn off all the water flow in the tank, suck some up in a pipette or syringe, and squirt it on the palys or shrooms as a test. Leave it on there for 15-20 minutes, then start everything back up and see what happens. Worse case is nothing happens.

Please post the results if you do try the Balance. Great to have another option to the Napalm if it does work.
