I have heard that putting too many of these in your tank can lower/raise you pH. I guess what I am asking is there a good way to cure them before I start fragging? Thanks.

Wow, Thats a great idea. you could cure a lot of DIY LR... that way

I keep the majority of them in a bucket of RO water that I change occassionally, but always have a handful in my sump. When I use them from the sump I replace them from the ones in the RO.
