Amazing corals! Just really really $$$$ :wow2: :o

I was talking about the Mantis....High? I see you guys pay $20 for some dinky frags around here...They have whole Colonies for $100 to $200 bucks..Can you imagine the money you guys would make fragging it? :)

They are my go to coral guys..love them.I think they are pretty reasonable for the different stuff they have.

My only issue with reefermadness is they have a real bad rep for photo shopping up photos. A mantis in a nice small species tank would be nice though.

Yeah, but that is why you could create a tank just for them. Some are easily pretty enough.

i just got an order from reefer madness two weeks ago and could not be any happier. everything was bagged very nicely and came very well packaged. the clam i ordered was fully open in the tank one hour after acclimation. also i ordered 1 of their rainbow ricordias and actually got a rock that had 5 on it.

A lot of people have ordered with great success and they do have some great corals, but I still don't like that photoshopping that seems everyone is moving towards. I guess it just sells more.

i think its hard to find an online vendor that doesn't use some sort of saturation adjusting to make their corals "pop". just like most of us don't post pictures of corals with just 6500k bulbs on. we turn on the actinics, 18k's, or blue pluses and get that nice shot without a flash that really shows off the bright colors.

True from most vendors, but all my pics are full lighting. I know fragglereef.com doesn't photochop their pics and a few other smaller vendors don't, but all the big ones seem to including one of my favorites which is liveaquaria.com.

lol right after i posted that i couldn't help but notice by avatar is a pic under full sun with a flash.

i think its just getting to be a too often accepted practice of fake pictures and outrageous prices for a single polyp of xyz zoa's etc. i know there is a lot of generous trading going on up in atl, but i wanted to give a shout out to all the macon guys who regularly hook me up.
