Refugium has a distinct citrus smell??

Due to my problems with Po4 and No3 I decided to take apart my refugium and thoughly clean, remove and put back together. As I'm draining the water I start to smell a faint citrus, almost Orange smell coming from there. Once I got to the rocks and sand it became a very distinct strong citrus smell. Any ideas?

You are only supposed to mix the vodka with OJ when you are dosing yourself not your tank.

I have to clean the the tank once in a while... I only wished it smell like oranges. Why are you complaining again lol?
