I have a purple firefish and would like to add a regular (red/orange) firefish. It's a 110 tank with 3 clowns, 1 bartlets anthias, and the purple firefish of course.

Any issues with adding a regular firefish?

I'd also like to add a starry blenny possibly, watchman goby (not sure which type yet), 2 more bartlets (i hear they do better with buddies), and a powder blue tang eventually. Oh and a neat wrasse (reef safe type) someday too.

Anyone see any issues with that?

It's a mixed reef tank with sps/lps/softies currently.

Thanks!

I have pairs of both red and purple firefish in the same tank. They hang out with their own, but not all together. Might be pairs, but I wouldn't know, if so.

The rest should be ok.

Ichthyoid knows better than me on the compatabillity for sure. But, as far as wrasse go, I think one of two would be a good choice assuming you have a nice sand bed. There are some really cool ones out there. If you want a great wrasse work out. Oh wait, wrong advice. If you want a great wrasse at a decent price, consider the yellow coris wrasse. Not as colorful as some of the others but a great fish that bothers no one and is very active. Another good choice for the money would be a solorensis. Very colorful fish at bargin price compaired to some of the others.

Thanks for the info all!

I'd love to get a pistol shrimp, i just read up on them a little more and they sound awesome.

Question though, I used to have a skunk cleaner shrimp but took it to the LFS because it started eating all my stometella snails. I have an AWESOME little colony that reproduces constantly in the tank and takes down algae like a champ. I only have 3 trochus and the stometella as CUC and they seem to be doing a pretty good job with the exception of the sand which needs a little work.

Would the pistol shrimp go for the stometella you think?
