I have an Oceanic 14 Biocube - bought new lights but for some reason they are not working. One of the older lights which was working when I was putting the new ones in doesn't work either any longer. Assume it's an electrical issue.
Thinking of taking the top off altogether but can't for the life of me figure out how to dissemble the hinges. Anyone have any experience with this? Hate to cut the hinges off!

Looks like there is a pin in each hinge on both sides of the hood, that you use a flat-blade screwdriver to pry out.

Thanks, I pried on it a bit but was afraid to break something. Will give it a go again.

It worked! First the pin, then the sleeve that the pin sits in. Thanks for the help</em>
