I have some Paly been in my tank for a while now. Of course with time they have grown out of their desired neighborhood. Looking for a safe way to keep them on there own turf. Just a few polyps now maybe 5 that needs to be removed.

Get some tweezers and yank them off. Be sure to get as much of the foot as you can or it will grow back. Also run carbon when you do it.

I've had success by making a kalk paste and covering the oral disk. It really knocks them back. Make a kalk paste, pull some up in a syringe, turn off all flow, cover paly disk, wait a few minutes and then siphon out the kalk paste. I do this a few times a year to some palys that grow too fast and it keeps them in check. I always do it right before a water change so I can siphon out the kalk paste as well as the paly goo that is left over.
