Repair cheap LED strip light

I purchased a National Geographic branded LED light strip from Petsmart for my 110 gallon fresh tank. Worked great other than a minor design issue (LED strips are in long glass tubes, which crack).

Recently, the light stopped coming on. When you click it on (or the built in timer triggers), the lights flash briefly and then go back out. I read up on the internet and this kind of thing happens for this brand.

Anything I can do to debug the light to maybe do a repair? I'm comfortable with electrics, but haven't done much with LEDs.

Is it still under warranty? If so I'd take it back to the retailer, or call the manufacturer to see about a replacement or refund.
