Can anyone ident this from the pics - hard to get a good shot.

Ok - took some more pics with tips - made some progress - used flash on a few (I know I know). There is a mystery object I can't ident in the tank. I have adjusted the contrast and brightness on a couple of versions to perhaps see it better. Now I will go back to Stroid's post to see how real pics are taken. All I have is a sony DSC-T1 wallet sized camera - love the cam but need to learn to use it better. Good night.


P.S. For a real challenge - see if you can spot the flatworm in any of the shots. Hint: my sand and rocks are not brown.

To me it kinda looks like a Ricordia but then again read my signature

Looks like a green hairy mushroom to me

If I were you i would find a way to get that mushroon to some light it has bubbly tips which might be hard to see, but if it is a hairy or ricordia mushroom that color would be a waste to not have it in a place where everyone could see it.

a little better pic made the contrast offset so you can really see the green hairy edges.

Looks like a disk otherwise.

Green Hairy mushroom is my call. But it's hard to tell exactly

Thanks for the compliment! My secret for taking somewhat decent pics is that I take like 50 pics to get 1 really good pic. I usually use my macro setting and no flash...flash is good sometimes. And that looks like a ric but hard to tell from that angle.

ricordia floridia is my guess but mushroom is certainly possible.

It is like a flat disc. When I placed a small piece of shrimp on it, it balled up around it like the bta does when it goes to sleep.
