Just a reminder to periodically check and clean your return pumps at least every 6 months. My frag tank return pump (Varios S4) shut down this afternoon with an error and after a brief moment of panic I realized the issue was a filthy pump. I was amazed at the friction that had built up between the impeller shaft and the bearing. A citric acid soak and a good scrubbing and it's a good as new.
