I’m looking for a “return” pump. I’m planning an all in one 40breeder. It has three holes drilled in the back, one on each side and one in the middle. It will be peninsula style so I plan on using the middle hole and probably the right side as returns. I’m planning on using an mp10es for flow but want to relay heavily on the return pump. I’m thinking it would need to be 800-1000gph? What would you guys recommend?

You’ve probably seen me babble about it before, but I’m a total fanboy of SR Aquaristik. I have 5 of their DC pumps now and I love them. They are lower price than their big-name equivalents (in my experience). Their customer service is amazing.
the only thing that isn’t “perfect” to me is that their bigger have a “pause” button rather than a “feed” button. In other words, it doesn’t automatically come back on after 10 minutes. I think they do this because they assume you’re running a controller at that size.
