Return volume

Just hooked up return pumps to 180,was watching the flow coming into the skimmer chamber sec.Also had 25% piped over to the fuge.Just looks like way to much flow.After head loss.Its about 1000 gph.I think im going to feed the fuge with 25% from one of the return pumps,and let all the overflow go into skimmer sec.This will be a little slower of flow.Maybe closer to 800 gph.

I'm returning about 2,000 gph in my 180 but then again, I'm powering 8 return heads in a loop over the top of the tank. I used all of the holes in the overflows as supply.

For some reason, it will be easyer for me to tee off my return.to go to my fuge.If i see i want more flow.I will feed my fuge from a MJ pump.When i plumbed over to the fuge from one of the overfiows with 1" pvc,and a ball-vale.Just to bulky.Plumbing was not neat looking.I will have 4 korallas 1400 for flow in DT .
