reverse light cycle...

Hi all.

Was considering doing my light cycle during the evenings for a 2 birds one stone reason. We are home more in the evenings, and room/tank temperatures are lower in the evenings. Here is what I am proposing...

Actinics on at 3:00 PM
MH on at 6:00 PM
MH off at 1:00 AM
Actinics off at 3:00 AM

My only concern is the ambient room lighting during the day. Will this be OK or too stressful for the fish to only have pitch dark/moonlights for 3 hours a day?

I've ran reverse light since being in the hobby and never ran into an issue. At times I get a good amount of light in the room where the tank is.

I usually shift mine to reverse in the summer months to try and keep down any heat issues..
