Right way to make bubble trap?

Hi guys. I think it's a no brainer, but is there a right n a wrong way to make a bubble trap? I'm redoing my sump for a new skimmer and will be putting a few in b4 the return pump section. What is the recommeded distance between the trap baffles?

Multipe baffles will work, but you can also design a filter sock holder which helps a lot, and you can also incorporate a sponge into your baffles which al but eliminates them.
