This is by far the suckiest manual I have ever seen. I love the controller though just not the manual. Its really hard to understand and not real informative.

You running the newest firmware? I think the new menus are 10x easier to use than the old ones.

It is the new firmware. I would just think for ALMOST $300 they would print and ship one with every controller. Kinda cheap of them.

Meh, if they keep updating the versions to add features, it would be very costly to reprint new manuals. Besides, I think most people who get this are at least a little tech savvy and know what the internet is.

I agree, most of the printed materials i received and pulled from the net are vague at best. I spent over $700 on my RKE set up with add ons and extra probes and the salinity probe (or the SL2) has a bug in it that wont be fixed until another firmware update is issued later this year...hopefully.

I am super happy with my unit just wish it was easier to understand without scouring the support forums for answers..

I am super happy as well and Im pretty savy when it comes to computers. Just my opinion. I really like the unit though.
