RO/DI Filter questions/help

I just got my ro/di filter installed and running.

i got a couple questions and the paper work isn't any help at all..

The unit has

Water In.. Pretty Self Explanatory
To Drain.. agian self explanatory
Pure Product Out.. Main out i guess
RO Only.. Has a open and close valve and its own out put
DI Bypass.. just a open and close valve

my main question is do i want to take the water from the RO out or the Pure product out? and do i need the DI by pass on or off... and can i drink the water coming out

<u>I think</u> RO out would be RO water that has not gone through DI section(drinking water)

Pure product is mainly for Water that has been through both RO&DI.

DI bypass should be close for normal operation.

But double check, I don't have that exact unit.

the instructions that came with kinda suck they dont really talk about the di by pass or anything

Roland is correct. You can drink the water from the RO only port and the pure water out is RO/DI.

I've got a different unit from the same company....

"The operation of the unit requires that the DI bypass be closed."

"To make DI/RO water, the valve positions DI Bypass- Closed, RO only valve-Closed, Product valve-Open."
