Ok guys............So I'm up in the air on how to hook up my RO/DI unit.
Here are the two options
1. take a saddle valve to my copper pipe (mainly used for ice makers) which has a 1/4" outlet where I could hook directly to my unit
2. sweat a faucet on the copper pipe and use a step down to the 1/4" airline tubing to the unit
Easiest would be the saddle valve but I don't want any leaks so I'm a little hesitant. But, I guess there are a lot of ice makers out there using this and haven't leaked for years. Would there be any difference in performance between the two options?
Thanks
