I have a Spectra Pure RO (only) system that is about 12 years old. It sat in my basement for roughly 8 or 9 years unused. I replaced the filter and carbon cartridges and the TDS meter is reading zero coming out of the unit.
My question is I have been looking to add a single DI cartridge from BRS so I can have an RO/DI setup. Would this be a good idea or should I replace the entire setup and start over with a new RO/DI system from BRS? $40 vs $180...Id rather put the money into testing equipment I need and coral.
