RO/DI System; Typhoon system

Does anyone have the Typhoon III system from Air, Water, Ice, and if so, are you having to replace the filters every few months? My filters are not lasting and its costing a fortune to replace them. I live in Gwinnett and wonder if it's the city water, or the filters/system.

Do you have a TDS meter? If so what's the reading on the tap water?

I don't have that model personally. Usually the first one to go for me though is the DI filter which I'll replace that one only. I'll do that when I see my TDS hit 3 or 4. Next filter change then I'll usually replace all 3. You can tell when the micron sediment filter needs replacing as it'll look beige and is no longer white.

Rarely does the membrane need to be replaced. Maybe once a year... Though if I start to get diatoms, then I know the membrane has to be replaced.
