Alright I am in the market for a RO/DI system. First off I have no clue how to determine what I need as far as my current water. I do live in the mountains so Im pretty sure the water is a little bit better here than in the city. So what do you guys use?

I use this company for the unit and filter products.
Never had an issue at all.

This is the one I am looking at getting.

alot of people do not like pure water club, apparently alot of leaking. I would stick with BRS, or Air water ice, again they are a sponsor!

Some of us do like them. Those of us that don't mind a little teflon tape and elbow grease...

i think if i got one i would take it apart, and put it back together. not even risk it.

+1 on the Air, Water & Ice unit. Mine actually produces more than it's rated at because I have high water pressure. It can take the pressure without any leaks and has provided 0 ppm water for over a year now.

This may be off topic, but what pressures do you guys set your RO/DI unit at when filtering? I was told by my LFS to set it at 15psi but to me it seems kinda slow, and to my understanding RO filtering is filtered using high pressure to rub water molecule together right?

I just bought this one and it works great .I hooked it up with no leaks. They are also local .I paid for it Wednesday morning and got it Thurdays afternoon. Its only a 75 gpd unit .For the price and it being local i figured Id give it a shot.

Not to mention... if you've got the water pressure you could always add on the BRS 150 GPD water saver kit to a 75 GPD setup later. I will be here shortly.

Does that depend on the unit and how fast it filters or no? I have a 250 GPD RO/DI unit. with dual membranes.
