Rock Anemone

How do I get rid of these darn things?I was told that they are rock anemones but not to sure.They are purple with green tips and are fast growers..I thought thay were cool at first but now they are getting out of control.I tried to pull them of but thay just shrink up,I also tried to cut them but they came back.Please help me before they take over.TY Chris

Pictures! I'm going to go ahead and say its aptasia as this sounds very very much like what aptasia is. At this point stop pulling/cutting any that you see in the tank.

definitely not a rock/flower anemone or there would only be 1 and it would be long dead by now.
