rock for school tank

How much rock does a 46 gal tank need? I finally got the 46 gal set up and running, but it needs live rock . I have probably 15 pounds I'm guessing. I am not very good at estimating. How much do I need to get and how little can I scrap by with? The tank has a HOB filter and a protein skimmer. We won't be doing any sps because of lighting just fish, inverts and some softies.

I try to do a pound a gallon at minimum.

I have about 75lbs in my 46gl, But I think you could get by with less.
