rock for sump

Ive got about 10-15lbs of former live rock lying around Id like to put in my refugium. It is dry rock that has been out of water for 2+ months. Do I have to cure it or make it "live" again before I can put it in my sump? Ive got live sand in the refugium now to slowly make it live. I want to AVOID causing a cycle at all costs since the tank is up and running with livestock, thats what Im worried about. I know this is a noob question I should know the answer to but for some reason I dont...

Yes cure it again. I just had to do the same thing.
