Here's the new thing I made out of a massive pukani rock from brs.

This tool slices through it like butter!

so its a weed eater for rocks? I love unsafe tools! JW, was there an advantage to this design over a typical angle grinder blade?

no no no.. that thing doesn't spin

it just vibrates REALLY fast back and forth. the blade stays put.

Edit: oh.. and only the end of it cuts... the sides aren't sharpened at all.

They're great tools - are you using a diamond coated grout type blade, or the standard steel ones?

eh its just the one that came with it. BUT pukani is pretty easily cut i suppose compared to some other kinds of LR

Probably works fine, as long as you don't use too much pressure on the cuts... Just keep an eye on the teeth, mine have started to wear...

i just rested it up on the rock and the weight of the tool does the rest.... ...

Edit: BTW.. that structure is about 18" tall
